Associate Pastor of Missions & International Ministries
Rev. Ivor Greenslade

In 1953 my wife Ruth and I sensed the call of God for missionary work in South America.
God lead us to the mission board ABWE (Association of Baptists for World Evangelism). We applied and were accepted for missionary work on the Amazon River in Northeastern Peru.
We served there for 21 years in church planting and training national leaders. In 1978 we were lead of God to church planting in Buenos Aires, Argentina. We served there for eight years. In 1980, due to a significant health issue we had to eventually leave church planting and return to Canada. God opened many doors for us to travel to different countries as a consultant for ABWE.
A few years later, after a further health issue, it was clear I could no longer fly to other countries.
In July 1989 I was called by Central Baptist Church as an Associate Pastor and have remained here ever since.
